I Rejected Ex-President Jonathan’s Offer To Serve His Gov’t, Sowore Reveals

Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore on Thursday revealed that former President Goodluck Jonathan once asked him to work for his administration, but he turned down the offer. Sowore made this known during a special interview on ‘State of the Nation’ on LEADERSHIP TV, where he discussed his past interactions with Nigerian politicians. INEC Receives Petition To Recall Natasha From Senate

Some registered voters from the Kogi Central Senatorial District of Kogi State have submitted a petition to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja, seeking the recall of the suspended Senator representing the district at the National Assembly, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. The petition dated March 21, 2025, was formally received by the office of Chairman of INEC on Monday, March 24, 2025. LG Autonomy: Gov Eno Warns Chairpersons Against Misuse Of Allocations

Akwa Ibom State governor, Pastor Umo Eno has disclosed that the 31 local government areas of the state have started collecting direct statutory allocations based on the LG autonomy granted them by the President Bola Tinubu-led federal government. BREAKING: Senate Panel Recommends 6-month Suspension For Kogi Central Senator Natasha

The Senate Committee on Public Conduct, Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, on Thursday, recommended the suspension of the Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, for a period of six months. The Committee’s chairman, Senator Neda Imasuen, who presented the panel’s report at plenary, said Senator Natasha was guilty of all allegations against her as she failed to submit herself to the legislative Committee for the review of her conduct. Senators are currently taking their turns to debate the report subject to further amendments of the Committee’s recommendations and their final adoption through voice vote.
