Volta Region to Host NAFAC 2026, Needs GH¢2M for Preparations.

The Volta Region has been chosen to host the 2026 National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFAC), set for November 2026. This decision follows the region’s outstanding performance at NAFAC 2024, where it won multiple awards, including Best Costumes and Best Talents.The Volta Regional Director of the Centre for National Culture (CNC), Lydia Nyarko-Ampomah, revealed that GH¢2 million is needed to upgrade facilities in preparation for the festival. Planned renovations include improving the regional CNC center, event garden, and cultural village, along with constructing a perimeter fence.NAFAC 2026 is expected to attract visitors from across Ghana, the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean.
