In a challenging turn of events for Zangbalun RC Junior High School in the Northern Region, students and teachers found their school locked on Monday. Issahaku Osman, the Zangbalun polling station chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), secured the building, citing the government’s failure to pay him ¢69,400 for renovation work he completed three years ago. The local Assembly had contracted Osman in 2021 to repair storm-damaged school facilities, with an agreement to reimburse him.
