GNFS Celebrates Memorial Day with Drills Competition in Tamale.

On September 25, 2024, the Northern Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) held an operational drills competition in Tamale to commemorate this year’s Memorial Day. This marks the fourth edition of the event in the region, which focused on road traffic collision scenarios, including a musical chairs competition.Fire stations from across the region participated in the exercise, with six teams representing the Regional Headquarters substation, Tamale Metro, Sagnarigu, Tamale Teaching Hospital, Tolon, and Savelugu.Assistant Chief Fire Officer (Grade 11) Philip Masiku, the Northern Regional Commander of GNFS, emphasized the importance of the competition in enhancing the officers' skills.
