The Opokua Ahwenee Foundation has donated essential hospital equipment to the Akwasiho Health Centre in a bid to enhance healthcare delivery in the Kwahu area. The donation follows an earlier Adom News report highlighting the facility’s logistical challenges. Founder of the Foundation and Adom FM/Adom TV journalist, Abena Opokua Ahwenie, explained that the initiative forms part of the foundation’s broader mission to support health and education in the Kwahu communities. “Our goal is to help bridge the gap in healthcare and education. We saw the need at Akwasiho Health Centre and responded with the necessary equipment. We also urge the staff to maintain the items properly so they can serve the community for a long time,” she stated.
