Central Region Faces Looming Water Crisis Amid Pollution Woes.

Ghana Water Limited Enhances Quality and Production in Central Region.

Ghana Water Limited (GWL) has made significant strides in improving water quality at the Sekyere Hemang Water Treatment Plant in the Central Region. The average water turbidity has decreased from 14,000 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units) to 9,000 NTU, a change facilitated by the Central Regional Security Council (REGSEC).Under the leadership of Central Regional Minister, Mrs. Justina Marigold Assan, daily water production has increased from 1.98 million gallons to 2.77 million gallons.
