Wanderlust Ghana Sets Out on Epic 30,000-Kilometre Journey.

Following their landmark road trip from Accra to London, Wanderlust Ghana is gearing up for an even grander adventure. The intrepid travel group will embark on a 30,000-kilometre expedition starting September 30, traveling from Accra to Paris, then on to Dubai, and finally, Cape Town. This ambitious journey will span three months and cross 30 countries.

The journey’s kickoff was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. Kwabena Peprah, CEO of Wanderlust Ghana, shared his excitement with JoyNews’s Jacqueline Ansomah Yeboah, emphasizing that this trip aims to elevate Ghana as a prominent tourist destination. “We want to make Ghana a key stop for tourists from around the world,” Peprah said.

While acknowledging potential challenges, such as vehicle issues, Peprah remained optimistic, saying, “We’re prepared and ready for the ride.”

The Ghana Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism are supporting this venture. Akwasi Agyeman, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, underscored the trip’s potential to boost Ghana’s global tourism profile through extensive media coverage at each destination.

The journey will traverse varied landscapes, from Mauritania’s deserts to Dubai’s skyscrapers, with stops in Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, Spain, France, Turkey, Kenya, and more. As Wanderlust Ghana sets off, they are not only embarking on a remarkable adventure but also promoting Ghana as a top destination for travel and tourism.
