President John Mahama has directed security agencies to declare wanted some individuals involved in a financial scandal at the National Service Authority (NSA), after they fled to evade justice.
Speaking during his first State of the Nation Address in his second term, Mahama emphasized his commitment to recovering stolen funds under the ‘Recover All the Loot’ policy. He revealed that a recent audit uncovered 81,885 fraudulent National Service entries, which, if undetected, could have cost the state over GH¢50 million per month.
The President has also ordered a full investigation by the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) and instructed the NSA’s new management to implement urgent reforms to prevent future payroll fraud. He reassured Ghanaians that his administration will not tolerate corruption and will take firm action to hold the culprits accountable.
