Residents of Fawoade Bampenase in the Kwabre East Municipality of Ashanti are pleading with the Ghana Police Service to increase security presence due to frequent robbery attacks.
In just one week, five robbery cases have been reported, with thieves targeting homes during power outages and nighttime hours. Victims, including National Service personnel Ms. Sherifatu Ibrahim, have lost cash, phones, bags, and other valuables. Some residents are even considering relocating due to safety concerns.
The community is urging authorities to act swiftly to protect lives and property.
