Melchizedek Adio Baafawiise, a 13-year-old genius studying Physics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has taken a remarkable step toward his aviation dreams. The young scholar recently had a once-in-a-lifetime experience flying aboard a private jet, thanks to businessman and aviation enthusiast Ibrahim Mahama.
Melchizedek’s brilliance caught Mahama’s attention after excelling in the WASSCE with 5 A1s and 3 Bs. Although he chose to study Physics first, he has always dreamed of becoming a pilot. To encourage him, Mahama invited him for a flight, where he got firsthand insights into aviation, including a cockpit experience.
Beyond the flight, Mahama pledged to cover all of Melchizedek’s tuition and academic expenses at KNUST. This incredible act of generosity ensures that the young prodigy can focus on his studies without financial burdens.
Melchizedek’s parents expressed deep gratitude to Mahama for supporting their son’s education and future ambitions. With his intelligence, dedication, and the right support, Melchizedek’s aviation dream might soon take off.
