Article arrow_drop_down

The chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has announced the introduction of toll-free hotlines, email addresses, and online platforms to help whistleblowers report corruption without revealing their identities. The initiative is designed to gather evidence transparently and securely.

Speaking on Joy FM, Mr. Ablakwa shared that these platforms will be operational by December 20, 2024. He clarified that the ORAL team is not a witch-hunt entity but a central body for receiving corruption-related evidence, which will be directed to relevant institutions for action.

President-elect John Mahama emphasized that the initiative would ensure streamlined evidence collection and refuted claims of political targeting. The ORAL team, operating without financial incentives, aims to serve Ghana selflessly in its anti-corruption efforts.
