Other influential rappers who made the top 10 include MC Lyte, Salt-N-Pepa, Roxanne Shanté, Eve, and Foxy Brown. Notably, current chart rivals Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion were ranked outside the top 10, with Cardi B at number 11 and Megan Thee Stallion at 15.
Despite her immense success and global recognition, Minaj has yet to win a Grammy, though she has been nominated 12 times. In contrast, both Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have won Grammy Awards in rap categories.
