The United States Embassy in Accra has announced changes to visa interview dates originally set for Monday, March 31, 2025, due to the observance of Eid-Ul-Fitr.
According to the Embassy, all immigrant visa appointments have been moved to Friday, April 4, 2025, at 7 AM, while non-immigrant visa applicants will now have their interviews on the morning of Friday, April 11, 2025. Affected individuals are advised to check their emails for official notifications regarding their updated schedules.
Eid-Ul-Fitr, a significant Islamic holiday marking the end of Ramadan, is widely celebrated in Ghana and recognized as a public holiday. Despite the rescheduling, the Embassy confirmed that operations will continue on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, and visa appointments set for that day will proceed as planned.
Applicants are encouraged to take note of these changes and adjust their plans accordingly.
