Teacher Dies in Road Crash on His Way to School

A devastating accident on Monday morning at Assin Dansame in the Central Region claimed the life of a 34-year-old teacher, Michael Brobbey.

Brobbey, who taught at Assin Breman near Assin Kushia, was riding his motorbike from Assin Breku to school when the tragic incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. Eyewitnesses report that an oncoming vehicle attempted to overtake another, forcing Brobbey to swerve onto the pedestrian lane. Unfortunately, a KIA vehicle with registration number GF-4723-22 struck him from behind, killing him instantly.

The Assin North police quickly responded, transporting his body to the mortuary. The driver of the KIA vehicle has been arrested to assist with investigations.

The accident has left the Assin Breku community in deep mourning, as Brobbey, affectionately known as “Kobii,” was cherished by his students, colleagues, and loved ones. His sudden passing has sent shockwaves through the town, highlighting concerns over road safety in the area.
